Orientaion Days
Thursday, April 12, 2007The orientation today wasn't as good as it was promised. I went home after attending half of it. We were told to meet at the Atrium at 8.45am but we were still there at 9.20am plus coz some came late. Then we went to assemble at the Sports Hall, before proceeding to the Stadium. I didn't want to participate in the water games at all. I participated in the first however, and my OGL kana splashed by the water bomb on my behalf. It started raining before the fourth game could be started. The Grand Finale was a bit attracting, coz there'll be a pageant for the various nominated Mr and Ms Freshie of each class. There will also be some performance by the nominated performer.
First day of orientation wasn't any better either. There were many talks in the Auditorium. Some of which were quite necessary though. The OGLs were sort of self-entertaining. They cheered on the stage to kill (their) time, I suppose. But it was at least better than asking us to do those cheers. We were all "amazed" by the cheers. There were the Macho Cheer, Ultimate Macho Cheer, Shy Cheer, Ultimate Shy Cheer, Sexy Cheer, Ultimate Sexy Cheer, Hungry Cheer, Gay Cheer, Ultimate Gay Cheer, etc. Lunch was provided. But I dun mind buying my own lunch coz of the "you-know-what" reason. There weren't enough seats in the canteen so we agreed to sit under the sun. It started drizzling when we were just about to start eating. Then we went to eat along the corridors. Everyone who walked by looked at us as though we were just spared food from some good souls. Then we played the whacko game. The person who can't say out another person's name will have to be the next whacker and also has to eat a part of the long bread. I never lose leh... But we had to share the bread in the end coz we had to stop playing and the bread still left more than half. We sat on the ground many many times yesterday. Plus is under the hot sun. Then we went to the computer lab to do some administrative stuff. The last activity was mass dance. The dance steps were choreographed as though there were no other choices. I'm sure no one remembered those steps. Very sure.

Playing the second water game of the day aka "The Confirmed Whole Body Will Get Wet Coz The People Will Get Violent Game".
Our OGLs were so good. They bought cookies and chocolate for everyone coz they know it'll be a tiring day. Thanks!
OGL S was telling us a question that she asked our OGL XL last time.
"If a coconut and a durian drop on your head, then which one is more painful?"
Someone said, "Head more painful lah..."
"All of you so clever... answer is your head more painful right?"
"But no... XL said durian more painful coz durian got spikes, but coconut dun have."
"Cannot talk logic into her one."
"You ask her I kick her or I smack her more painful and she will say I kick her more painful but won't say she more painful one."
"So people, check your frequency."
