Jagalchi Market (Jagalchi Station) - website

Known as Korea's largest seafood market, this is certainly a must-go when in Busan. We decided to give Seoul's Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market a miss though it is the more visited one (cuz people don't usually visit Busan haha).

This outdoor area is just by the seaport and all the vendors were selling the same seafood. I wonder how they differentiate themselves...

Too bad I don't know how to appreciate all these...

I'm quite surprised that the seafood market is located in such a decent building.

Sorry for the blur photo cuz my mind was all about making sure I don't fall from the slippery floors.

Jagalchi Sashimi House (Jagalchi Station)

Went up to the 2nd floor where the restaurants are. All the ahjummas were asking us to patronise them but we settled for one that has a Chinese speaking staff. The Korean owner is very friendly too.

Live octopus (seasoned with sesame and sesame oil) that was still squirming when served. Super gross! You can view the instavid here because I'm not going to embed the squirming octopus here.

Seafood Pancake

Sashimi

The dishes just kept coming in till the whole table was almost filled. Then just as we were about to dig in, the ahjumma came back with more food.

Grilled Mackerel

Korean Spicy Fish Stew (Mae Un Tang) that tasted the best out of this meal.

And more seafood omgg!

There was so much food because we ordered their set menu. It would cost more if we were to order just the few dishes that we want to eat.

Nampodong Street (Nampo Station) - website

Attempted to go back to Nampodong for some shopping but it was still raining. See how quiet the streets were.

Unlike in Singapore, we had to constantly keep a lookout for cars that can come from any directions.

Blackup Coffee (Nampo Station)

Nothing better than to sip on hot coffee and watch people go by.

Sulbing (Nampo Station) - website

Spotted the highly-raved Sulbing just as we about to head back to the hotel.

This Injeolmi Toast is apparently a must-try though I didn't like it. It is toast stuffed with Korean rice cake and coated with bean flour. A bit like the muah chee but not as good.

Spotted Busan Tower while on the streets. It's nothing magnificent like Seoul's Namsan Tower.

Then it's time to head back to the hotel to pick-up our luggage for the 4hr KTX train ride to Seoul. Super happy and excited to go to Seoul! We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and so our taxi to the train station was paid for by the hotel, woohoo!

Reached Seoul in the late evening, put down our luggage at Savoy Hotel, and headed out for dinner!

There was a mini drama at Savoy Hotel cuz I didn't know the hotel turns off the central air-conditioning every spring. We could only open the windows for ventilation and the best they could do is to provide a fan. Yes, it was still chilly in the night when the windows were opened but I hated how the air felt stationary.

Nolboo Budae Jjigae (Myeongdong Station) - website

Quite hard to spot this restaurant cuz it's located on the 2nd floor.

It was torturous to wait for the army stew to cook cuz we were so hungry from that 4hr train ride.

The army stew was the perfect remedy to the cold night. We finished everything!

Mouse Rabbit (Konkuk University Station) - website

Here at Yesung's cafe~ When in Korea, visit Super Junior members' cafe!

No photos allowed at the counter but still... :D

A bit Christmassy lol.

Autographed poster of Super Junior.

Hot cappuccino in the cold night <3

Noticed a warm hideout in the basement when we were about to leave. Too pretty!

Dongdaemun Market (Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station) - website

Last itinerary of the day was midnight shopping at Dongdaemun Market. Damn awesome to see April slashing prices on my behalf. :D
