8 September 2015

Tsui Wah Restaurant (Tsim Sha Tsui Station) - website

Milk tea served in a very "pretty" cup.

Fish balls and sliced fish cakes in fish soup. What a long and repetitive name.

King prawns in XO sauce with tossed noodles

Super love these crispy buns with sweet condensed milk till I ordered another serving!

Tsim Sha Tsui China Ferry Terminal

After breakfast, we walked to the ferry terminal for our ferry ride to Macau.

The ferry was so crowded and people were pushing their way through though seats were pre-allocated.

Senado Square

This town square is part of UNESCO Historic Centre of Macau World Heritage Site. Very pretty but didn't stay for long because the sun was just right above us.

Streets of Macau.

Ruins of St. Paul's

A beautiful sight (except for that giant lantern on the left).

Taipa Village

A feel of Paris.

Galo Portuguese Restaurant

I didn't quite enjoy the food but perhaps I just don't know how to appreciate Portuguese cuisine.

Fish and chips with fried rice

Pork chop with fries and fried rice

Portuguese tomato rice soup with fish

The Venetian Macao - website

So gold and glaring.

Before I went there, I honestly thought the blue sky was real.

And I finally tried the Portuguese egg tarts from Lord Stow’s! The bakery cafe is fairly small and we had to wait quite long for seats. The egg tarts were not piping hot but still as awesome.

Macau Fisherman’s Wharf

A replica of The Colosseum in Rome.

Iconic architectures of Amsterdam.

And this sums up our 1-day trip in Macau.
