Korea 2014 (Day 3 of 6)

Bonjuk (Myeongdong Station) - website
We had the Abalone, Shrimp and Seaweed porridge for breakfast. It wasn't too bad but I'm not really a porridge person.
A shot of Myeongdong in the morning.
Starting the day right!
Changdeokgung (Anguk Station) - website
Here at the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site!
Everything about the palaces here is so grand.
I can see these pretty trees everyday.
Super big inside. Lots of walking required.
Didn't buy tickets for Secret Garden though now I wished we had.
Little gates everywhere.
I have a thing for these pointed roofs.
The emperor is above all - just look at how high the throne is.
This is what we see upon every step - beautiful and colourful autumn leaves.
Bought Hotteok (Korean pancakes) at a truck stall when on our way out from the palace.
Softree (Samcheongdong) - website
This branch is located very near the "entrance" of Samcheongdong so it's quite easy to spot.
WOW Honey Chips soft-serve is so yummy. Honeycomb is incomparable!
Lunch was at a random local restaurant, where I had Naengmyeon (cold noodles). Omg I just hate Naengmyeon can.
After lunch, we walked over to Insadong, which is an area I don't fancy. It sells mainly traditional goods but then again, it is still good to explore different places when travelling.
김장독 (Hongdae)
Army stew at another random local restaurant.
The ahjumma was so nice to give us complimentary steamed egg.
Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory (Myeongdong Station)
Bought fried chicken for supper in the hotel. This original flavour is so yummy.
Starbucks (Myeongdong Station) - website
And not forgetting my caffeine fix.
