Early dinner at Montana Brew Bar. I love how it is conveniently located in POMO but the cafe is relatively small, so it could be quite hard to get a table.
Mocha
I'm quite irritated that my cappuccino is almost always the smallest cup on the table.
Ordered one of their signature item - Truffle Mac & Cheese 2.0! Every bite of the waffle has loads of mac and cheese with truffle taste. It's just nice for sharing cuz I probably can't finish this on my own.
Red Velvet Waffle Stack is soooooo good! The waffle might be a little too crispy but that doesn't matter because the 2 scoops of vanilla bean ice-cream were huge, the cream cheese was nice and there's a whole bottle of maple syrup on each table. Can't ask for more!
I was so excited to know that this Korean fried chicken chain has come to Singapore because I first had it in Korea last year and it was so awesome.
Having tried the authentic Crispy Fried Chicken in Korea, we ordered something different instead - the highly-raved Nest Snow Chicken, which is a brilliant combination of fried chicken tenders in cream sauce with sweet potato salad and a swirl of whipped cream.
Desserts at Lady M (Orchard Central) after that because a leisure lunch just doesn't end without some sweet guilt.
Cafe Mocha
Chocolate Mille Crepe is only available at this outlet, so it's definitely worth the try. In my opinion, their signature vanilla flavour is better though.
Tarte au Citron cuz I'm a huge fan of desserts that have a touch of sourness.
Oh and I heard that my favourite Red Velvet Cake is back on the shelves, yay!
Chicken Hotpot is not too bad except that I would prefer clear soup more than thick gravy. You can request to refill the pot with clear soup, and add more items into the hotpot just like how you would eat a steamboat.
Scandalously Spicy Shrimp Hotpot is super spicy but shiok. Underneath the big prawns are crispy fries soaked in spicy soup. What a fresh way to eat fries!
