Weekend brunch at OZ Specialty Coffee. It's located in Thomson V Two, which is a little hard to find if you are not familiar with that area.
Went there early noon and managed to get a seat inside the cafe. Yay to aircon!
Morning Catch of smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, multi-grain toast, greens and a whole bottom of tri-floral honey. How sumptuous!
Belgian Liege Waffles topped with vanilla ice-cream, frozen summer berries and salted caramel sauce. I'm drooling already.
It's quite nice to see the outside view while having a good meal.
Skipped desserts and coffee at OZ so that we could have Carpenter and Cook's famous tarts instead.
But I kind of regretted it cuz it was such a long and hot walk to this Jasmine Road takeaway branch.
Loving the interior though.
And not forgetting the wonderful selection of desserts.
Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Tart
Passion Fruit Meringue Tart
Banoffee Tart
Cook's Amazing Quiche
Carried the tarts all the way to my home area and ate them along with coffee from McDonald's hehe.
I'm sure the tarts would taste better if we could have them at Carpenter and Cook itself. Oh well.
Weekend brunch at Lola's Cafe.
The cafe was sooooo packed on a Saturday morning. I think we waited about 2 hours, and had no choice but to waste time walking around in Heartland Mall.
The interior of Lola's was very nice but I couldn't get any good photos considering there were people everywhere.
Honey Paprika Crispy Wings. These wings are really good!
Breakfast Butter Croissant
Avocado Eggs Benedict. It looked as though it's a small portion but no, it was super filling.
I'm gonna try going back on a weekday morning (to skip the queue) for the nacho cheese fries, honey paprika wings and coffee soon!
Walked over to Hatter Street for desserts after that. It was quite a long walk hmmm.
Small little cafe with Alice in Wonderland themed interior.
I wish they would serve proper coffee, and not from those average coffee machine in ugly cups.
Whoaffle with chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce. This overly-raved waffle tasted average and the tiny-weeny scoop of ice-cream was seriously too much.
I would probably try their cakes the next time, and that's if ever I go back again.
Dinner at Raffles City's Poulet, my favourite place for amazing french roast chicken.
Gratin of potato and sweet corn. How I wished Truffle Mashed Potato was still in the menu.
Prawn Fritters that tasted so-so only.
The favourite Poulet Roti with awesome (and never sufficient) mushroom chardonnay sauce!
I'm all against serving the whole chicken in such a ugly pot. And in this matter of fact, I'm never ordering whole chicken again. I'll stick to having half chicken, which is served on a nicer plate.
Desserts at Tiong Bahru Bakery.
Cafe Mocha
Cappuccino. I think coffee art makes coffee look tastier.
Lemon Curd Tart. The lemon is super sour but I like.
Mixed Berries Crumble Tart
Happy times :)
I think I'm hanging out at Marina Square too much.
Dinner at Addictions Cafe & Remedy Bar after work.
Truffle fries with parmesan cheese shavings. Super good!
Seafood pasta with tiger prawn in tomato sauce
Half spring chicken in pommery mustard with french beans and seasonal vegetable
Desserts at Lady M Confections.
Their signature Vanilla Mille Crêpe definitely did not disappoint!
How could I not order my favourite Red Velvet Cake?! This is officially my favourite place to have a red velvet cake!
Ordered the Checkers Cake cuz of the checkerboard appearance. It's actually just a normal sponge cake with chocolate ganache.
Cafe Mocha
Cappuccino
A sinful indulgence :D
Lunch at Rokeby Bistro.
Cappuccino
The coffee art is too pretty!
Spaghetti carbonara with mushrooms
It was quite disappointing to know that their brunch menu wasn't served all day. We reached a little after 12pm and was told there's no more brunch menu available. Sigh, we could only order the mains while we watch other people finish up their brunch. :(
Desserts at Wimbly Lu Chocolates, a super popular dessert place that's just a few shops away from Rokeby.
This Volkswagen parked outside has got to be the prettiest decor a shop could ever have!
The queue to enter was quite long but it did move relatively fast.
Root beer cake with vanilla ice-cream
Waffle with salted caramel ice-cream and maple syrup
Lemon meringue tart
Round 2 of desserts at The Coffee Daily, which happens to be in the same area. There seriously wasn't a need for another round of desserts but we just wanna strike off another cafe off the list since it's so near.
Loving the vintage shopfront.
A good number of staffs behind the counter...
Cappuccino
Matcha Latte
Rainbow cake with cream cheese <3
Somewhere over the rainbow~
