These few days have been very emotional - from #RIPLeeKuanYew to the passing of my grandpa.

This grandpa of mine is the only grandpa who has watched me grow up. Without him, I might not be able to relate to the word 'grandpa' at all.

Words can't contain my sorrow as I mourn for him every day during the wake and beyond.

Ah gong, I hope you left us peacefully without any worries. I'm sure you are feeling better in the other world so please have a safe journey without us.

Farewell for now and may you rest in peace. Miss you.

Sauteed Brioche French Toast with Salted Caramelised Bananas and Fresh Berries

 

It was quite hard to locate the cafe as it was tucked in a little corner. 

I think it was a bit of a garden theme.

Pretty numbers stands.

Cappuccino and flat white.

Fried Chicken and Waffle which tasted quite bad. The fried chicken wasn't tender and the waffle wasn't very good either.

Lobster Bisque Spaghetti which was so-so only.

French Toast - the main reason I went Miam Miam. Really yummy!

Seafood, barbecue, hot items and desserts. You name it, they have it. I thought I was in a food coma.

Also ordered a mango mousse cake for cake-cutting. :)

 Eggs on Toast. I find that leafy veggie very out of place but oh, that brioche is awesome.

 Crab Burger which was very yummy.

 So sad that the highly-raved PB & J French Toast was taken out of the menu during that time. 

So we headed to Stateland Cafe for desserts after that.

Classic Honey Toast with yoghurt ice-cream that I don't fancy.

 Red Velvet Waffle. It looks pretty but there wasn't much red velvet taste. The cream cheese also couldn't be tasted because of the thick chocolate sauce.

But my tummy is still happy :)

Army's Stew with Assorted Meat. So yummy!

Spicy Fried Wings & Drumlets. I was surprised the spicy sauce was simply slabbed onto the wings, which resulted in uneven spiciness.

Hot Patjook (red bean porridge) with heart-shaped marshmallows.

The complimentary side dishes that everybody likes. 

Yummy Army Stew!

I like it with lots of ramyun.

 Seafood Pancake which was nice but we can't finish it cuz the army stew was so filling.

And how can I not get cakes from Cake Spade whenever I'm in Tanjong Pagar?!

 

The signature Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake.

My favourite Red Velvet Cake.

 Red Velvet Cheesecake is an interesting flavour but I only like that Oreo crust.
