Migabon (Myeongdong Station)
I wasn't too keen on a porridge breakfast because my first Korean porridge at Bonjuk was quite bland. But Migabon is surprisingly good!
We ordered Ginseng chicken porridge and King crab porridge. So good! The portion is also just nice to have for breakfast.
Pierre Hermé Paris (Apgujeong Station) - website
Perks of flying Korean Air - gift certificate and coffee coupon at Hyundai Department Store
Here again for awesome macarons because we've got gift certificates to spend!
Chocolate praline, dark chocolate, orange coffee, rose raspberry, truffle and black currant truffle.
Redeemed a hot chocolate drink and savoured a few macarons at the outdoor sky garden of the department store. It was 10°C!
Bloom and Goute (Sinsa Station) - website
This cafe is too pretty.
Cakes galore!
It's also a florist.
Even a simple bouquet looks amazingly pretty.
Pretty florals on every table.
Quiche lorraine
Egg benedict
Yummy brunch situation.
Flobaris & Coffee (Sinsa Station) - website
Captivated by these beautiful flowers while walking along the streets.
If only I could bring them home.
Even the cactuses look pretty.
These real flowers have been preserved and can last for years without withering or changing colours.
I bought a mini bouquet cuz of the orange flowers hehe.
Lady M (Sinsa Station) - website
We had the whole place to ourselves.
Love the floral chandelier!
They had several flavours that can't be found in Singapore.
If you were wondering why Lady M was on our itinerary, it's actually because of this Red Velvet Cake (which was unavailable in Singapore then).
And also this Strawberry Mille Crepe! The crepe cake was good but the red velvet cake was disappointing.
Remicone (Sinsa Station) - website
The ice-cream parlour looks like a vehicle.
Laboratory feel.
Thunder bomb! The soft serve was good but the mint-flavoured cotton candy tasted a little weird.
Banana Tree (Sinsa Station) - website
It can be quite difficult to spot this little cafe.
So colourful (and cramped haha).
Banana flower paap and cotton candy tiramisu lattes.
Apparently this particular stretch of road at the back of the National Assembly building has the best cherry blossom view in Seoul.
Can't take my eyes off the pretty trees.
Han River is everywhere.
Scenic.
It was starting to get dark and the spotlights were starting to shine on the cherry blossoms.
Pretty in pink.
The whole stretch of road is closed to vehicles during the cherry blossom festival.
Everyone just can't stop snapping.
Myeongdong Street (Myeongdong Station)
Went back to Myeongdong and bought strawberry mochi to munch before walking over to Yoogane for dinner.
This strawberry mochi is damn good that we even hand-carried some back to Singapore!
Yoogane (Myeongdong Station)
Free flow of side dishes.
The moment when they serve this uncooked marinated chicken galbi is torturing, cuz it takes a while for them to cook it.
Finally ready to dig in!
Ramyun is definitely a mandatory add-on.
And we ordered fried rice too because we saw how the Koreans were eating it so happily.

Flower paap is a pot of banana/espresso/strawberry pudding with oreo "soil". Very creative indeed.
